The Game Awards has announced the final five who have made it to the last round of the Players' Voice award. These are the top five remaining nominees:
- Black Myth: Wukong
- Genshin Impact
- Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree
- Wuthering Waves
- Zenless Zone Zero
Out of a total of 30 initial nominees, these are the five games that have survived two culling rounds to reach the top five contenders for the Players' Voice award. The last round of voting is now ongoing to decide who will win this award at The Game Awards 2024.
Interestingly, Genshin Impact has won the Players' Voice Award for two years in a row in 2022 and 2023. If the game manages to win the award this year as well, then it will be a stupendous achievement for HoYoverse, considering Genshin Impact was released all the way back in 2020.
Meanwhile, this is the first nomination for both Wuthering Waves and Zenless Zone Zero in the Players' Voice category. Both games were released earlier this year, and have since developed a steady fanbase.
Voting for the Players' Voice Award is currently ongoing, and will be open till 6 pm PT/9 pm ET on December 11, 2024. Winners for the award will be announced during the official TGA 2024 show, which will be held on December 12, 2024, and will be livestreamed on several platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch.
