On November 22, 2023, controversial internet personality Adin Ross responded to fans who asked him to stop using the homophobic F-slur on his livestream. While browsing his official Discord server, Ross came across a submission in which a viewer claimed that the streamer was trying to appease his "edgy fanbase" by using the derogatory term.

They elaborated:

"Imagine Drake or someone famous clicks on your stream and hears you say the F-slur. You're instantly dropped but we know you like to please your 12-year-old, brace, pimple-face, edgy fanbase. It turns them on and makes you sound so cool when you say that F-slur... goofy a*s n***am tighten up, and you be questioning why everyone hates you."

Adin Ross responded by stating that "no one cared" about his use of the F-word. He asserted that the viewer was "literally trying to stop" him from being himself. The Florida native added that he would not "change" and ended up using the homophobic term on livestream.

Adin Ross added:

"Guess what? I don't need a brand, bro! I don't care! Whenever I did try to get other brands, they f**king took it away from me for saying there was two genders, bro! You want to say something about that?! You want to fight with science, when I fight with God? God said there was two genders, bro. You got a problem with that? Huh?! Are you Satan, b**ch?"

During the Just Chatting segment of his Kick broadcast, Adin Ross came across the aforementioned concerns from one of his community members. The content creator's response after reading them was:

"Bro, nobody gives a f**k but you. Like, this is so f**king annoying, bro. You are trying to, like, literally stop me from being me. No, I'm not going to change. I'm going to do the f**k I want to do, f**got! I don't care."

The indefinitely banned Twitch personality argued that he "doesn't offend anyone":

"I don't offend anyone (by) saying it. I'm sorry if you're offended by it. I'm sorry about that. No! (Someone is heard saying they are banning the user from Adin Ross' Discord server) Yeah, even Eddie said he'd ban you. Shut up, bro! Shut the f**k up!"

Adin Ross added that he switched to livestreaming on Kick because he was able to stay "himself." He went on to say that viewers unhappy with his content should stop watching his broadcasts:

"I'm myself out here. That's why I came here. That's what I said to my friends off-stream. I'm the same guy off-stream as I am on-stream. And, if you have a problem with that, don't watch me, bro! I don't give a f**k! Like, bro, I don't have a brand. Do I have a brand besides f**king Kick? No!"

Last year, on April 12, 2022, Adin Ross went viral after allegedly using the F-slur during a voice call with Josh "YourRAGE." The 23-year-old was eventually banned on Twitch for the fifth time on April 21, 2022, for using "hateful slurs."
