Popular Twitch streamer Mark "OhnePixel" has been named the Counter-Strike Streamer of the Year by HLTV and 1xBet Esports. HLTV announced the winners for various categories of the HLTV Awards 2023 through a series of posts on January 13, 2024. Among them, they also revealed OhnePixel's win, along with the second and third placed creators as well.
In the year 2022, professional player Oleksandr "s1mple" won the Player of the Year award, while FaZe won the Best Team award. For the year 2023, each category had three nominations, out of which one would be declared as the winner. The awards ceremony was held on January 13, 2024, at 9 AM Pacific Standard Time in Belgrade, Serbia.

"Ohne has done more for the streaming CS community than anyone": Fans react to OhnePixel winning HLTV Streamer of the Year
OhnePixel began streaming on Twitch in 2013. He mainly streams games from the Valve's FPS series, including Counter-Strike, CS2, and CS:GO, as well as other series-related content. He is also known for opening cases and discussing skins in Counter-Strike. He has streamed the game for a total of 14.2K hours since the launch of CS2.
The HLTV Awards is the most sought-after award show for the Counter-Strike community, having started in 2021. The awards are divided into three categories:
- HLTV Awards
- Panel Awards
- Community Awards
The Streamer of the Year was a part of the Community category, where OhnePixel was nominated alongside popular streamers Olofmeister" and Gaules. Mark posted on X about watching the awards show live since he was nominated for a category.
Upon being announced as the winner, he also reposted a tweet by DonaCSGO, another CS content creator, and thanked her for the congratulations.
Many fans commented on the news of the Twitch streamer winning the 2023 award. One X user mentioned that, according to them, Mark has done a lot for the CS community and deserves the award.
