Mydei of the Chrysos Heir has been revealed as the second featured 5-star unit for the upcoming Honkai Star Rail 3.1 update. This new chapter in the Trailblazer's journey will take us to the Eternal Land, Amphoreus, where we will encounter remarkable characters destined to save the planet. Mydeimos from the city of Castrum Kremnos has been hinted at as one of the heroes.
In addition to Mydei, Tribbie has also been confirmed for the Honkai Star Rail 3.1 update and is expected to be the featured 5-star character for the first half of the patch.

Mydei, a Chrysos Heir from Amphoreus, will play a significant role in the Honkai Star Rail 3.1 storyline. The crown prince of Kremnos will be a 5-star Destruction unit, wielding the Imaginary element on the battlefield.
HoYoverse introduced Mydei as the second featured character for the 3.1 update, just days before the Honkai Star Rail 3.0 livestream.
The announcement post on X and other social media platforms had this to say about the crown prince:
"Kremnos, swallowed by mist! City riven between chaos and war! The blood of patricide flows through its royal line, and its god bears the title of calamity."
Fans will likely get a closer look at the character during the Honkai Star Rail 3.0 Special Program that will debut on January 1, 2025
Mydei's character type in Honkai Star Rail
The crown prince of Kremnos is expected to be released in the second half of version 3.1. It is highly likely that we will encounter him during the Amphoreus storyline in version 3.0. Here is everything we currently know about him:

When can we expect the Honkai Star Rail 3.1 update?
The 3.1 update is anticipated to bring the second part of the Amphoreus Saga to Honkai Star Rail. If HoYoverse maintains the 42-day patch cycle for version 3.0, we can expect the next version of the game on the following dates:
- Phase 1: February 26, 2025
- Phase 2: March 19, 2025
