The new Honkai Star Rail trailer revealed during The Game Awards 2024 gives players a sneak peek into the upcoming region of Amphoreus. Featuring gorgeous new locations and a cameo from Castorice, this footage is sure to whet fans' appetites for the new update coming in January 2025.
The trailer starts with the Trailblazer and the rest of the Astral Express crew preparing for a Warp Jump to the region of Amphoreus. While the jump is taking place, the Trailblazer gets a fleeting glimpse of all the regions that the Astral Express has visited so far — Jarilo-VI, Xianzhou Luofu, and Penacony. Soon after, the Astral Express finishes the Warp Jump and reaches Amphoreus.
What we see next are gorgeous landscapes of the region of Amphoreus, bathed in varying shades of blue.
As seen in the trailer, Amphoreus will feature both overhead and underground areas, with the possibility of certain maps being located in the skies.
The trailer also features Castorice, who has officially been announced by HoYoverse as an upcoming character from the region of Amphoreus.
As already revealed by the Amphoreus Golden Epic trailer, Castorice is the "daughter of River Styx (River of Souls)" and has a mysterious connection with death. Ever since her official announcement, players have been extremely interested in her, and speculations about her possible release version have been rife.
The new Honkai Star Rail 3.0 trailer has sparked much excitement among players, who are looking forward to the release of Amphoreus and the Chrysos Heirs in version 3.0.
