Honkai Star Rail reveals in-game Castorice visuals in latest video

HoYoverse just showcased the gameplay of Remembrance Trailblazer in Honkai Star Rail, with the v3.0 update nearing its global launch. While some players were engrossed in the combat elements, eagle-eyed fans caught the in-game visuals of Castorice. Based on the version 3.0 trailer and livestream, she is presumably an NPC who will likely assist Trailblazers in exploring the mysteries of Amphoreus.

Honkai Star Rail’s latest video show in-game visuals of Castorice

Castorice is one of the many Honkai Star Rail Amphoreus characters who were officially revealed by HoYoverse during the version 2.7 livestream. The v3.0 Special Program further teased her alliance with the Trailblazer. She is expected to help the protagonist draw power from the Remembrance Path.

In the official Remembrance Trailblazer showcase video, fans could see in-game visuals of Castorice. She stands beside the main character, Dan Heng, and Mem, wielding a large scythe. Players might wonder if she is playable by any means.

So far, HoYoverse has confirmed that Castorice will be an NPC in Amphoreus. However, her non-playable status might change at any given time if the officials decide to do so. She has a detailed character design and, most importantly, an uncanny resemblance to Kiana Kaslana, one of the main protagonists of Honkai Impact 3rd.

Specifically, the Castorice outfit in HSR matches the Herrscher of Finality battlesuit. In the TGA 2024 trailer, a dragon-like creature appeared behind her, strikingly similar to Benares, the Honkai Beast that has consistently assisted Kiana throughout the story. Perhaps Castorice is a different variant of the beloved Honkai Impact 3rd unit.

Hopefully, players will learn more about her in the Honkai Star Rail 3.0 update, which launches globally on January 15, 2025. The patch will introduce The Herta and Aglaea as playable 5-star units. Version 3.0 will also bring Amphoreus as the new explorable planet and the next destination for the Astral Express crew.
