“Incredibly f**king racist” - HasanAbi goes off at Johnny Somali over his past controversies in Japan

Twitch streamer and political commentator Hasan "HasanAbi" took to his stream yesterday (May 17) to speak on controversial streamer Ramsey "Johnny Somali" and his notorious antics during his stay in Japan. The streamer, for those unaware, was residing in Japan until he was arrested and criminally charged in December 2023. The streamer was seen harassing local people. In one instance, he approached locals and referred to the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings, a deeply sensitive topic to the Japanese.

This incident naturally caught the attention of many within the streaming community. Hasan is the latest in line to speak about him. Here's what he said:

"He was being incredibly f**king racist."

HasanAbi lashes out at controversial streamer Johnny Somali

Johnny Somali has garnered the attention of political commentator and Twitch streamer HasanAbi. Hasan is usually pretty outspoken about the controversies that go around in the online and streaming realm. Speaking about Ramsey, Hasan said:

"'I said racist?' (reading the chat) Yes, dude, yes. Are you going to say, 'Oh but Japan is 98% Japanese, how can you be racist to the Japanese?' Because when he (Johnny Somali) was being racist to the f**king Japanese, he was being racist by screaming Hiroshima and Nagasaki."

He explained that the reason behind Hasan labeling him a racist was because he kept referring to the controversial past between the two nations:

"So Johnny Somali wasn't being racist on the virtue of him being black and them being Japanese, he was being racist to the Japanese on the virtue that they were f**king annihilated by American atomic. Once again, tying this back to historic violence, colonial violence, or imperial violence."

HasanAbi's comments on Johnny Somali also elected a reaction from the latter as well. He took to his X account to respond, stating:

"I reminded them of history, put them in their place, and warned them never to attack the greatest nation in history ever again."

Johnny Somali's antics in Japan weren't the only instances of him pushing the line. Back in April 2024, the streamer visited the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Controversially, the streamer filmed himself putting up pictures of Adin Ross, Harvey Weinstein, and Jeffrey Epstein on the holy site.
