Darren “IShowSpeed”’s trip to South Korea has been nothing short of interesting. During his most recent livestream, one of his fans offered him a Richard Mille watch, valued at nearly $400,000. While Darren didn’t initially take the watch, he came back and accepted it; however, it’s not without a little controversy. The South Korean fan was also a content creator, and a clip showed up of him yelling “It’s fake!” as he drove off.

The two met again shortly after, with the streamer ultimately claiming the Richard Mille watch as a gift, and deciding it needed to be tested. At this time, there’s no word on whether it’s real, but if so, it’s an incredible gift to give and one of the many interesting moments during Speed's time in South Korea.

While driving around in South Korea towards the end of his date stream, IShowSpeed saw a Ferrari drive up, with the driver wildly waving his hand at them. The content creator wanted to drive the car, yelling out of the window “Yo, let me drive that!” and the fan agreed, while also saying they got him a gift.

Before the two would drive off for the initial Ferrari drive, the fan said that they had a gift for him. Taking the orange-strapped watch off his wrist, he offered it to IShowSpeed, who didn’t know what a Richard Mille watch was. This particular watch, the RM11-03 with an orange strap, is valued at almost $400,000.

For those not familiar, a Richard Mille is among the most expensive watches someone can own. They are renowned for their technical prowess and gorgeous visual appeal. Some can go for several hundred thousand dollars, while others range in the millions.

At first, Speed didn’t take the watch, and the two drove off. Before IShowSpeed left, after the driving portion of the stream, he went back outside to ask if the fan was going to give him the watch. The fan thought at first Darren rejected the watch, but the two met up, and Speed was given the watch.

However, after the fan drove off, he yelled “It’s fake!”, which was shown from a clip of that person’s stream. This would spark confusion, and the two would meet up again in a few more minutes to chat. The South Korean fan insisted it was not fake, and that he never wore fake jewelry.

After a bit of a back-and-forth, IShowSpeed claimed the watch as a gift. However, he did agree with the fan that if he didn’t believe it was real, he could go get it tested - under the condition that if it was real, they had to hang out in America.

Unfortunately, IShowSpeed has not revealed yet if it’s a real Richard Mille. The YouTuber’s trip to South Korea has been nothing if not interesting, from going on dates, hanging out in clubs, and getting into a bark-off with a South Korean police officer.
