Popular VTuber Veibae recently went live on her channel for her indie debut. On April 26, 2023, the streamer shocked the online community by announcing her departure from the San Francisco-based agency VShojo. She has not live-streamed on her channel since then. On May 22, 2023, Veibae hosted an hour-long broadcast to discuss her decision to go independent and reveal her new model.

Additionally, she spoke about her departure from VShojo and what it meant after signing with Mythic. She said:

"Mythic basically gives me sponsorships, where I can f**k around, stream whatever the f**k I want to stream. Not to worry about my view count and... just, you know, just do whatever the f**k I want to do and not censor myself."

Veibae refutes rumors about joining OTK and assures her audience that she will be an independent VTuber

At the 01:09-hour mark of her broadcast, Veibae displayed a meme to announce that she is now a member of Mythic Talent. The contents on the banner read:

"Contract ended with VShojo. Now Mythic is my best friend."

The content creator then mentioned her departure from VShojo, claiming that due to legal constraints, she was unable to disclose the reason for her decision:

"So, as you already know, I did not renew my VShojo contract, because of reasons I cannot legally talk about. But it has not been renewed. I am an indie now! However, I did sign with Mythic."

Veibae also explained how Mythic facilitates content creators:

"I think f**king every VTuber is under Mythic now because... what they do is, they're basically a manager, in a way where they give me sponsorships. I am still an indie and I intend to be an indie. I'm not under an agency, or anything like that."

A few moments later, the virtual streamer refuted rumors of joining One True King (OTK), asserting that she would remain an independent creator:

"So, I am an indie and I am excited to do random s**t. No! Not OTK! I'm indie as f**k! I'm indie. Indie! Okay?"
