Marvel Rivals to bring another Avenger in-game, character design leaked

Unexpectedly, a major character from Marvel Rivals has been leaked today, August 4, 2024. A well-recognized source, Miller Ross, confirmed the design leak for Captain America, who will be the next Avenger to be featured in the game. The original image came from a post on the popular social media platform, X from the @404LEAKbackup account.

Marvel Rivals Captain America design leaked

Miller Ross's confirmation of the leaked image was very clear. The post soon went viral on multiple social media platforms. Here's what he said regarding the leak:

"Can't blame me for this one! There's Captain America as he will appear in Marvel Rivals."

Marvel Rivals is an upcoming title that currently has no release date. It pits various popular characters against one another in a battle to decide the fate of the world and now it appears that Captain America will be the next character to be revealed.

Since the game has no release date, a full list of characters is not available yet. At least, there is no one complete catalog listing all the Marvel characters we will see in-game. Famous villains like Magneto and heroes like Spiderman have already been marketed by the developers.

However, The First Avenger was never really shown in trailers or other promotional material. Now that the image has been leaked, Marvel Rivals might officially showcase the character and reveal what his abilities in the game would be.

The leaked image portrays Captain America as a bulky heavy-set man covered in his iconic blue, red, and white armor. The style clearly parts ways with the more streamlined armor shown in the Avengers movies by Marvel Studios. Additionally, the image includes characters like Thor and Storm.

All in all, the picture looks more like an artwork than the actual in-game character's model. Regardless, it gives fans a great detailed look at what the character will look like in the game. An interesting missing factor, however, is the lack of his Adamantium shield.
