MLBB M6 World Championship Swiss Stage Day 1: Results and highlights

Day 1 of the MLBB M6 World Championship Swiss Stage was played on November 28, 2024. All 16 participating teams played their Round 1 matches in a best-of-one (Bo1) format. The winners qualified for Round 2: High 1-0, while the losing teams have moved to Round 2: Low 0-1. The event is being organized offline, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Day 2 is all set to be played on November 29, 2024. The Swiss Stage will run until December 5, 2024, with the top eight teams advancing to the Knockout Stage of this MLBB tournament. Of the total 16 participating teams, 15 have been selected directly from regional tournaments, while one team (Ulfhednar) has been selected from the Wildcats stage.

Turkey’s S2G Esports surprised everyone with its incredible performance against Malaysia’s Selangor Red Giants, who won the prestigious Mid-Season Cup 2024. The club played impressively in its opening game of the event. One of its players, Kazue, was the MVP of the match.

BloodthirstyKings, from North America, hammered Turkey’s Ulfhednar with its impressive performance. Ulfhednar, who won the Wildcard Stage, stumbled in its first encounter of the Swiss Stage.

CPU Gaming won its game against NIP Flash. The team's key athlete, Xingg, was the star performer in this match. Team Spirit from Russia too made a great start as the club outplayed Maycam Evolve in its first battle.

RRQ Hoshi, a fan-favorite Indonesian MLBB squad, had an excellent run on Day 1, as the experienced squad defeated KeepBest Gaming in its opening encounter of this championship. One of its star players, Skylar, emerged as the MVP of this game.

Two renowned MLBB clubs — Team Liquid and Fnatic ONIC — faced each other on Thursday. Fnatic delivered thumping performances and came out victorious in this battle. Its key player, Bans, was the star individual performer of this match.

Twisted Minds managed to defeat Team Vamos, thanks to its star player Saano’s brilliant performance. Meanwhile, Falcon Esports beat Aurora Gaming in an exciting battle.

Day 2 schedule

The winners of Round 1 will compete in Round 2: High 1-0. S2G will fight against BloodthirstyKings, while Falcon will battle against Twisted Minds. Fnatic and CFU will play against each other, while RRQ Hoshi will face Team Spirit.

In Round 2: Low 0-1, Maycam Evolve will play against Team Vamos. NIP Flash and Aurora Gaming will contest against each other. KeepBest Gaming will clash against Team Liquid, while Ulfhednar will go up against Selangor Red Giants.
