MLBB M6 World Championship Wildcard: Livestream, dates, teams, format, and how to watch

The Wildcard Stage of the MLBB M6 World Championship is all set to be played from November 21 and 24, 2024. Eight teams have been selected from many regions to play in this stage. The first-ranked squad will be awarded a spot in the main event, which will commence from November 28. 15 teams have already been selected for the main event directly from regional tournaments.

The four-day Wildcard will be played in two different phases; Group Stage and Decider Stage. Eight squads have been divided into two groups. All matches from this stage will be organized in Best of 3 (Bo3). The table topper in each group will proceed to the next phase. Two teams will then fight in the Decider Stage.

The top-performing team of the Wildcard will be seeded into the Swiss Stage of the M6 World Championship main event. This grand MLBB tournament will be hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It features a huge prize pool of $1 million, the highest ever compared to all previous World Championship editions.

Here are the two groups and teams that will participate in the event:

Group A

  1. DFYG
  2. Geekay Esports
  3. Niightmare Esports
  4. Ulfhednar

Group B

  1. Insilio
  2. Legion Esports
  3. RRQ Akira
  4. The Mongolz

How to watch

The Wildcard will be broadcast live on the YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and TikTok channels of MLBB Esports from 11:30 am IST onwards in many languages, including English.

Legion Esports from Vietnam and Nightmare Esports from Laos have qualified for this event after securing first and second places respectively in the MVC Mekong Season 4. Insilio comes courtesy of finishing second in the MLBB Continental Championship S4. Team Spirit, who won this event, has qualified directly for the main stage of the M6 Championship.

Ulfhednar enters this Wildcard Stage after finishing second in the MTC Turkey Championship Season 4. RRQ Akira from Brazil secured their spot after clinching second in the MPL LATAM Season 2. Geekay Esports secured a second-placed finish in the MPL MENA Season 6 and grabbed a spot here.

DianFengYaoGuai finished second in the China Qualifier. The Mongolz won the ENC Mongolia and ensured a seat in the Wildcard Stage. These eight teams will have to play consistently to earn a spot in the main event. This is the sixth edition of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang World Championship.
