The MLBB M6 World Championship came to an end on December 15, 2024. Fnatic ONIC, from the Philippines, emerged as the world champion after showcasing its dominance in the event. The team's key player Kelra was the FMVP, thanks to his incredible performance against Team Liquid in the Grand Finals. The Filipino team was awarded a cash prize of $320,000.

Fnatic ONIC had a dominant run throughout the tournament, winning all its matches in the competition. It outplayed Team Liquid in the Grand Finals on Sunday by a scoreline of 4-1. For those unaware, the organization had entered the championship after winning the MPL Philippines Season 14.

Team Liquid became the runner-up of the MLBB World Championship, and received $150,000 in prize money. The Indonesian club gave average performances in the Swiss Stage, but enhanced its play in the Knockout Stage. However, the team played three matches against Fnatic in the tournament, and lost all of them.

Selangor Red Giants, the MSC 2024 champions, finished third in the tournament. The Malaysian powerhouse lost its last match against Team Liquid in the Lower Bracket Finals. The organization was awarded $90,000. Its star athlete, Innocent, was named the Most Breakthrough Player of the event.

Team Spirit, from Russia, ranked fourth in the MLBB Championship. RRQ Hoshi had an outstanding run in the Swiss Stage, but stumbled in the Knockout. Falcon Esports, NIP Flash, and Vamos also faltered in the Knockout.

BloodThirsty Kings, CPU, and Twisted Minds were unable to reach the Knockout. Aurora Gaming, from the Philippines, faced tough challenges in the Swiss Stage. Meanwhile, Maycam Evolve and Ulfhednar were unable to win any matches in the Swiss Stage.

A total of 23 teams competed in the MLBB Championship for the trophy. The tournament was conducted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As such, teams will now prepare for the upcoming season of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang esports.
