Mongolia’s 4Merical Vibes claims first spot as Day 1 of PMGC 2024 Grand Finals ends

Day 1 of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024 Grand Finals took place on December 6, 2024, with 4Merical Vibes from Mongolia capturing the first position after six matches. The Dok-led lineup accumulated 63 points, including 43 eliminations. They played outstandingly in the fourth game of the day as they clinched a massive 33-point Chicken Dinner.

Team Spirit from Russia also got off to a strong start as the experienced squad moved to the second spot with 53 points. The lineup secured two Chicken Dinners in six matches. VOIN Donkey from Indonesia also had a great run and earned third spot with 53 points despite not winning any games.

A total of 16 teams are fighting in the Grand Finals of the PMGC 2024 in London. It will feature 18 games across three days. This event is also being broadcast live on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and TikTok.

Falcons Force notched up the opening game of the PMGC Finals but stumbled in their next five matches. The Mongolian powerhouse stood 11th in the rankings with 28 points. The roster was previously associated with Stalwart Esports and was the runner-up of the Global Championship 2023.

China’s TJB was 12th with 24 points. Alpha 7 Esports, who won the PMWC 2024, faltered on Day 1 as the Brazilian squad scored only 22 points. Influence Rage, ThumderTalk, and Guild Esports were in the last three spots with 21, 14, and 9 points, respectively.
