NAVI defeated G2 Esports on Nuke and Inferno with a steep 13-6 scoreline on both maps. The former's victory in this series was as decisive as they come. On the Natus Vincere side, b1t perhaps packed the most firepower, dropping 56 frags across all three maps. His teammate, jL, was not far behind with 51 kills.
While both sides acquired an impressive number of eliminations, NAVI managed to dominate the opponents by anticipating their moves and performing excellent executions.
G2 showed a lot of spirit as they won Map 1, Ancient. A fan-favorite player on this team, m0NESY, made some powerful plays on this map. The Counter-Strike 2 pro gamer even clutched a 1v3 at one point. However, his efforts weren't enough to win G2 the series.
Map 2 (Nuke) was heavily dominated by NAVI, as the squad didn't allow the opposition to secure even a single round after the sides were swapped. The first half of the map ended with a 6-6 scoreline after NiKo sneakily struck down b1t, Aleksib, and iM. Once the sides were swapped, powerful performances from b1t, w0nderful, and jL kept G2 from getting a win.
NAVI retained its momentum on Inferno. The squad lost Round 2 to a low buy and still managed to not let their opponents overwhelm them. The final score for Inferno, too, was 13-6.
G2 NiKo still managed to get the MVP award and a reward of $50,000 for his efforts.
