New Marvel Rivals Season 1 heroes, team-ups, and maps allegedly leaked

New alleged information about Marvel Rivals and its upcoming Season 1 has surfaced. Leaker @X0X_Leak on X has supposedly unearthed a bunch of details about the upcoming update to Netease Games' popular hero shooter. This includes new heroes to be added at the Season 1 launch as well as new team-up abilities and maps that will be introduced alongside.

Many of these include picks that fans have been clamoring for a while now, such as Deadpool, and even some underrated choices. Here are the details.

As per the leaker, here are all the new characters making their way to the game when Season 1 goes live:

• Angela
• Captain Marvel
• Deadpool
• Emma Frost
• Hit-Monkey
• Jean Grey/Phoenix
• Modok

Among these, Deadpool has been a popular pick clamored by many fans, so assuming this is true, fans can play as the beloved, crude-humored vigilante soon enough. Emma Frost is another of the X-Men who will potentially join the ranks alongside existing mutants like Wolverine and Magneto. The selection also includes some odd but welcome surprises like Hit-Monkey and Modok.

Moving on, here are the leaked maps for Season 1:

• Krakoa
• Arakko
• New York

The first two are sentient islands that could add further variety to the map roster alongside the recently added Hydra Charteris Base and Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda. It will be interesting to see how the New York map will be implemented in action.
