Ninjas in Pyjamas enters Apex Legends, signs o7 roster

Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP), a reputed esports organization has entered competitive Apex Legends by signing the famous o7 roster. NiP is a Swedish organization originally founded in 2000. This news comes ahead of the Esports World Cup and has surprised many fans. The former roster of o7 was a fan favorite who treated the community with many entertaining plays.

The CEO of NiP, Hicham Chahine spoke about this signing, stating that the competitive scene of Apex Legends has finally reached stable ground to make it worthwhile to invest in the game with a long-term mindset. Here's what he had to say:

"The time is finally right for us to get into Apex. The game and its esports scene have reached a solid, stable baseline that allows us to invest with a long-term mindset, and we found a roster that goes pretty hard. I’m thrilled to see what these guys can do under the NIP flag."

Ninjas in Pyjamas Roster in Apex Legends

As of June 12th, 2024, Ninjas in Pyjamas has entered competitive Apex Legends by signing the former roster of o7 constituting of the following players:

• Gsnake - Casper Præstensgaard
• Amphy - Miran Garib
• Zaine - Zaine Kazi

They have also signed Don-Abas Adam as the team’s coach. The team is geared up for the upcoming ALGS Year 4 Split 2 Pro League matches, and everyone is excited to see how they perform under their new Ninjas in Pyjamas banner.

The players have already updated their profiles with the NiP logo. The team is set to travel to Stockholm after the ALGS Pro League Matches to shoot content for NiP and prepare for the Esports World Cup at the end of July.
