No new Hero Equipment and Medal Event in Clash of Clans in July 2024

Supercell has been quite consistent with its special Medal Event in Clash of Clans, through which it has introduced various fresh items, including new Hero Equipment, Hero skins, and other collectibles and decors. However, since the developer hasn't announced such events yet, players are wondering if they should expect them this month.

Breaking the silence with disappointing news, a popular Clash of Clans content creator, @ClashDotNinja, has issued a statement on their X account, and this article will discuss it.

Clash of Clans' Medal Events often feature two time-limited currencies: One is collected by performing multiplayer attacks and looting from enemies' bases, while the other is earned from the event's reward track. Subsequently, this currency is used to purchase numerous items, such as Hero Equipment, availed for a limited time at the Trader Shop.

According to @ClashDotNinja, there will be no such events this month (July), and to much disappointment of the fans, the creator doesn't explain why. That said, it's quite obvious the developer took this decision, as it released Rocket Spear Equipment for the Royal Champion last month in the Super Wall Breaker Spotlight, a Medal Event in Clash of Clans.

Additionally, since Supercell has been consistently releasing Medal Events in the title, many COC content creators, such as Kenny Jo., weren't enjoying it, as these events were highly repetitive, and Supercell was overdoing them. These events were getting boring, as the developer wasn't releasing anything new in them except for Hero Equipment and other collectibles.

Since there will be no Medal Event in Clash of Clans this month, Supercell has compensated players by releasing the Unlimited Heroes Event, which went live on June 24, 2024, and will be active throughout July. It will allow you to use your heroes even when they are going through an upgrade.

Additionally, you can make this event last a little longer by collecting Dark Elixirs.
