Overwatch 2 MHA collaboration announced at Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2024

The Overwatch 2 MHA collaboration has just been announced at the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2024. Over the past month, developers have been collaborating with several series and companies; therefore, a new collaboration is nothing new for the players. However, since the developers have recently introduced the World of Warcraft collab, another collaboration this early was quite unexpected.

Having said that, this article will discuss the Overwatch 2 MHA collaboration that was announced in the Xbox Game Show 2024.

An Overwatch 2 MHA collaboration is scheduled for October 2024

During the recent Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2024, Blizzard developers caught the players off guard with the announcement of the Overwatch 2 MHA collab event. This newly revealed collaboration event is scheduled for October 17th, 2024. Similar to previous events from Blizzard, this one will also bring in several exclusive skins in the game, which will be available for a limited time.

As per past occurrences, players will be able to purchase the skins after their release with Overwatch Coins. Since it's a collab event, the skins will be available for a limited time. This time, a total of five skins will debut as a part of the Overwatch 2 MHA collab. If you are wondering what the names of these Heroes and skins are, here is a list including all skins:

• Izuku Midoriya – Tracer skin
• All Might – Reinhardt skin
• Himoko Toga – Kiriko skin
• Tomura Shigaraki – Reaper skin
• Ochaco Uraraka – Juno skin

All of the aforementioned skins will be available for the entirety of the Overwatch 2 My Hero Academia collab. Apart from the skins, the developers will likely release some Souvenirs, Emotes, Player Icons, Name Cards, Highlight Intros, and more with the MHA-themed skin, as they have been doing the game with past collaboration events.

Additionally, Overwatch 2 is now available in the Xbox Game Pass, and players can receive some extra benefits if they decide to play the game through it.
