When will the Overwatch 2 Transformers collab event go live?

In the recent Season 11 Super Mega Ultrawatch Official Trailer, the officials announced that they will be partnering up with Hasbro to launch the Overwatch 2 Transformers skins to the players. This collaboration event will be released on July 9, 2024. Since Transformers is part of many players’ childhoods, it is expected to garner a fair bit of attention.

After the Overwatch 2 Transformers collab goes live, players worldwide will be able to purchase the skins from the in-game store. Although the developers haven’t announced what Hero skins they will be releasing, players should keep their Overwatch coins ready.

Apart from the Transformers collab, the Overwatch 2 Summer Games 2024 is also going live alongside the former. Summer Games is an annual event in which players can obtain various summer-themed skins and play Lucioball. Additionally, they can earn various free items by playing the aforementioned game mode.

Lucioball is a copy of soccer that divides six players into two teams. The three players in each team will be equipped with a modified set of abilities, as they try to launch the ball towards their opponent’s goal.
