According to a recent X post by @OW_Esports, the official account of Overwatch Esports, OWCS is set to have three live events in 2025. The first stage, titled "Champions Clash," will begin in April 2025 and will qualify the top eight teams, with two teams advancing from each of the four regions: Asia, China, EMEA, and NA. An interesting change is that the Chinese region will also be included in the Stage 1 tournament this time around.

OWCS is set to host three live events for 2025
Following the conclusion of the 2024 series, the OWCS is set to return with three stages across the world, featuring three global live events for 2025. The first stage, known as "Champions Clash," will take place in Hangzhou, China, at the Hangzhou Esports Arena in April 2025.

The second stage, the Midseason Championship, will kick off in July 2025 and will take place at the Esports World Cup in Boulevard City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The third stage, World Finals will start in November 2025 and take place at the DreamHack, Stockholmsmassan Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.

After Stage 1, Champions Clash, the top eight teams from four regions (Asia, China, EMEA, and NA) will advance to the next stage and compete against one another to qualify for the World Finals in Sweden.
