In a recent Twitch stream, Hasan “HasanAbi” spoke about Charlie “MoistCr1TiKaL’s” take on iDubbz’s apology video. He considered it a positive thing to see the once-controversial streamer grow beyond his older content. Charlie looked at it in a different light. MoistCr1TiKaL's opinion of the situation left the political streamer confused, who did not mince words in his reaction.

HasanAbi pointed out that MoistCr1TiKaL cultivates a fanbase of viewers on both sides of the political spectrum. Even with that in mind, he was convinced that Charlie’s audience wouldn’t receive the opinion well. Hasan said,

"I feel like a lot of people are gonna be rubbed the wrong way from this.”

HasanAbi calls out MoistCr1TiKaL for how he reacted to iDubbz’s apology

(Clip begins at 2:27:50)

In HasanAbi’s latest stream, one of the topics he discussed was iDubbz’s apology video and how MoistCr1TiKaL reacted to it. In his apology video, iDubbz said that he should have to live the rest of his life knowing that he profited off of bigoted content where he harassed other content creators.

However, Charlie said that it wasn’t a big deal that iDubbz made “edgy” videos back in 2016. Among those harmed by the streamer’s content was Tana Mongeau, a well-known internet personality. After his apology, he showed interest in being on Tana's podcast. HasanAbi would pause the clip to highlight this particular thought.

In the iDubbz video, the content creator took ownership of the content he made that was hurtful and said it was right to take ownership of it instead of just sweeping it under the rug. MoistCr1TiKaL said it wasn't a big deal when that wasn’t the talking point. Hasan reacted to this by saying:

“Yo, what the f**k, dude? It’s not what’s going on! He didn’t say that, why are you making it out to be like that?”

The way MoistCr1TiKaL came off, according to HasanAbi, was that he was trying to defend iDubbz and that his apology wasn’t necessary. However, the content creator in question, iDubbz, felt like the video was necessary, and thus he created it.

Hasan would discuss Charlie's take during the stream:

“What the f**k? This is so bad. All right, I’ma call it. No matter how much ‘Normie Jesus’ has cultivated a f**king fanbase on both sides of the political spectrum, I feel like a lot of people are gonna be rubbed the wrong way from this.”

HasanAbi, during his stream, pointed out that the purpose of the video wasn’t to self-flagellate or apologize when it wasn’t necessary to. Instead, the streamer highlighted iDubbz wanted to make amends for the wrongs he committed when making content that openly harassed other people.

According to Hasan, iDubbz was just taking ownership of his more controversial content. He stated:

“This almost feels like a Sunny V2/Ninja video at this point, where he’s just like, ‘This apology is not warranted, you’re flogging yourself, you don’t deserve this.’ That’s not what he’s saying! He’s taking ownership over some of the dogs**t stuff he did!”

Redditors also took the time to focus on iDubbz’s apology for his past content. They were glad to see the man behind the content has changed and is trying to grow beyond the old Content Cop content.
