PlayStation announces Days of Play promo event

PlayStation has officially unveiled the Days of Play event for 2024, which is slated to begin on May 29, 2024. This yearly, recurring event brings with it a ton of promotions and events, such as discounts and free games. The event is set to end on June 12, 2024, at 11:59 PM local time, so make sure to prepare accordingly.

As detailed within the official PlayStation Blog post, the Days of Play event brings with it the following:

• A set of unique avatars that can be redeemed via the PS Plus web page on either PC or consoles. All of these avatars are free to download.
• A host of additions to monthly games via PS Plus for the Extra and Premium tiers.
• Exclusive access to a Felix Freezebeard the Yeti Roblox avatar.
• Bonus titles, including Tomb Raider Legend and Star Wars: The Clone Wars for PS Plus Premium subscribers.
• A Days of Play Community Challenge, which has all members of the PlayStation family work together to reach certain community goals. Completing these challenges will reward each player with a unique PlayStation Stars reward. Existing PS Plus members will get an additional reward for simply participating.
• The PlayStation Stars Campaign will also be available - offering players a chance at earning digital collectibles. Some of these campaigns will be focused on the games that will be released via PlayStation Plus in June 2024.
• Existing PS Plus members can also participate in an esports tournament for EA's FC 24. The event includes multiple rounds, as well as enticing rewards such as FC points and $1500 worth of cash prizes.
• From May 29, 2024, to June 12, 2024, there will be a PlayStation 5 promotion in effect. Buyers have the opportunity to purchase PlayStation 5 hardware at discounted prices. This offer also extends into PS VR2 bundles and select games.
• Additionally, a promotional offer for PS Plus will also be in effect, until June 9, 2024. Newcomers to the service will be able to obtain a 30% discount on a 12-month membership plan.
• The Days of Play event also brings with it numerous other discounts on games, DLC, and merch.
