PMGC 2024 Grand Finals Day 1: Overall standings and highlights 

4Merical Vibes topped the overall standings at the end of Day 1 of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024 Grand Finals. The Mongolian squad posted 63 points and claimed one Chicken Dinner in six matches. Team Spirit secured second spot with 53 points and two Chicken Dinners. VOIN Donkey too had a good day, claiming third place with 53 points.

Dplus KIA improved its results in the last few games and moved up to fourth spot with 43 points. Insilio was fifth with 43 points. DRX, Natus Vincere, and RCB managed 32 points each.

Falcons Force, TJB, and Alpha 7 Esports had below-average runs on the opening day, scoring 28, 24, and 22 points, respectively. ThunderTalk and Guild Esports were the bottom two, with 14 and 9 points, respectively.

Day 1 points table and summary of PMGC 2024 Grand Finals

Match 1 - Sanhok

Falcons Force from Mongolia clinched the opening match of the Finals with 21 points. 4Merical Vibes and Alpha 7 Esports also started strong, securing 13 points each. VOIN Donkey from Indonesia achieved eight points.

Match 2 - Erangel

Nigma Galaxy delivered an impressive performance in the second encounter and grabbed a 20-kill Chicken Dinner. Its key player, Narvalow, was the star performer of the match, with four kills. VOIN, Insilio, and Natus Vincere earned 16, 12, and 10 points, respectively.

Match 3 - Erangel

Team Spirit from Russia was phenomenal in the third battle as the side claimed a 21-point Chicken Dinner. One of its players, Knowme, was the MVP of the match with three kills. Imsilio and VOIN Donkey had another good game, scoring 16 and 10 points, respectively. DRX from South Korea took eight points during this match.

Match 4 - Erangel

4Merical Vibes dominated the fourth game of the PMGC Finale, securing a huge 33-point Chicken Dinner. Its star player, DOK, was the top individual performer of the match, with 11 eliminations. Insilio and Team spirit managed to get 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Match 5 - Miramar

Team Spirit secured its second Chicken Dinner of the PMGC Finale with 15 points. Dplus KIA played aggressively and added 14 points to its name. RCB and 4Merical Vibes claimed 12 points each. Meanwhile, Natus Vincere acquired nine crucial points.

Match 6 - Miramar

Dplus KIA pulled off a 22-point victory in the last game of the PMGC Finals Day 1. Its key athlete, Nolbu, grabbed five kills alone. VOIN and Vicious achieved 18 and 12 points, respectively.
