PMGC 2024 League Group Red: Teams, schedule, format, and how to watch

The 16 teams from Group Red are all set to begin their PMGC 2024 campaign on November 7, 2024, where they will participate in 24 matches of the Group Stage. The top three from the overall points table will receive a direct spot in the Grand Finals, while teams placed 4th to 11th will get a place in the Survival Stage. The remaining five teams from the group will be knocked out of the Global Championship 2024.

The event kicked off on October 31, 2024, and a total of 48 teams have been seeded into three groups: Yellow, Red, and Green. Teams from Group Yellow have already played their Group Stage matches, with Team Spirit, DRX, and Alpha7 Esports reaching the PMGC Grand Finals.

This fifth edition of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship boasts $3 million in prize money. 48 teams are competing in the League Stage for 15 spots in the Grand Finals. Malaysia is host to the ongoing League Stage, while the United Kingdom will host the Grand Finals.

How to watch

Fans can watch all matches live on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and TikTok. It will be live-streamed from 4 pm IST in many languages. Each day of Group Red will feature six games across three maps: Sanhok, Erangel, and Miramar.

Here is the map order for each day:

• Match 4 - Erangel
• Match 5 - Miramar
• Match 6 - Miramar

Defending champion IHC Esports from Mongolia has been placed in Group Red. The club has struggled in many regional tournaments this year and will thus aim to bounce back in the PMGC and defend its title.

Falcon Force features the ex-roster of Stalwart Esports, who was the runner-up of the Global Championship 2023. The renowned squad will be one of the top teams to watch out for in Group Red.

Tianba and TJB from China are also part of Group Red. These teams have performed well in their regional PEL events this year. Alter Ego and Faze have also had a great run in the PUBG Mobile Super League 2024 SEA.
