PMGC 2024 League Group Yellow Day 1: Overall standings and highlights 

Day 1 of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024 League was held on October 31. Teams from Group Yellow played in their initial six matches of the Group Stage. Major Pride was phenomenal on the opening day, ranking first with 62 points and a Chicken Dinner. Team Spirit finished second with 59 points and one Chicken Dinner.

Alpha 7 Esports played brilliantly in its last two games and jumped to third with 55 points. Vampire Esports sat third with 46 points after winning two Chicken Dinners on Day 1. Bigetron and D’Xavier were fourth and fifth with 45 and 42 points respectively.

DRX and RSG had a slow start as they finished 10th and 11th with 25 and 24 points respectively. De Muerte and Horaa struggled on Day 1 and collected only 19 and 17 points respectively. Twisted Mind faltered completely as the side was at the bottom of the chart with only 12 points in six matches.

Match 1 - Sanhok

Major Pride registered a brilliant 25-point victory in the opening match of the PMGC 2024. DRX amassed 11 points, while Harame Bro ensured 10 important points there. Mirean and RSG took nine points each.

Match 2 - Erangel

Team Spirit clinched the second encounter with 20 points. Bigetron Knights was also impressive as the team claimed 14 points. INCO and De Muerte accumulated 13 points apiece.

Match 3 - Erangel

Vampire Esports clinched the third game of the PMGC with 15 points. Mirean also added 15 points to its name. Major Pride gathered 14 points, while Alpha7 claimed nine points. Bigetron earned seven points, including six kills.

Match 4 - Erangel

Vampire Esports sealed its second Chicken Dinner of the day with 22 points. Player Schwepxz alone picked up seven frags. Loops Esports managed nine points, while DRX and Bigetron achieved eight points each.

Match 5 - Miramar

D’Xavier emerged victorious in the fifth round with 19 points. Major Pride grabbed 15 points, while Bigetron and Team Spirit clinched 11 points each. Alpha 7 earned 10 points, including four kills.

Match 6 - Miramar

Alpha 7 Esports notched up its first Chicken Dinner of the PMGC 2024 in the last game of Day 1. The Brazilian team secured 23 points in this battle. Team Spirit acquired 20 points, while ZEUS and INCO grabbed seven points each.
