Day 1 of the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) 2024 SEA Fall Finals was held on September 6, 2024. The top 16 teams from the League Stage are clashing against each other for a share of the total prize pool of $200,000. It is being played at the Surabaya Convention Center, Indonesia. After the conclusion of this event, a total of nine teams from the region will qualify for the PMGC 2024.
D’Xavier from Vietnam had an outstanding run on Friday and amassed 77 points in six matches. The club earned the first spot with three Chicken Dinners and 35 eliminations. Vampire Esports from Thailand ranked second with 67 points despite not winning a single match on Day 1. Alliance from Malaysia captured the third spot with 56 points.

VOIN DONKEY was fourth with 51 points and one Chicken Dinner. RRQ RYU and ROY Esports grabbed the fifth and sixth positions with 50 and 49 points, respectively. MORPH won one match on Day 1 and came seventh in the overall rankings. Faze Clan from Thailand came eighth, with 44 points.
Popular Indonesian clubs Talon and Bigetron had an average run, scoring 41 and 40 points, respectively. Malaysia's SEM9 scored 37 points on Day 1. Team Secret, who had impressive results in the PMSL League, obtained 13th position with 36 points after the opening day of the Finals.
Alter Ego, a renowned lineup, ranked 14th with 33 points, including 16 eliminations. Geek Fam from Malaysia occupied the 15th rank with 32 points. Defending champions BOOM Esports from Indonesia had a terrible start to the PMSL Fall Finals as the club scored only 27 points in six matches.
There are only 12 matches left in the Grand Finals. Teams will aim to strengthen their rankings on Day 2. The top-performing team of the event will receive the first prize of $35,000. The second and third-placed teams will get $20,000 and $11,000 respectively.
