The Pokemon UNITE World Championship 2024 is all set to be played on August 16 and 17 in Honolulu, the United States. A total of 30 teams from around the globe will contest for a total prize pool of $500,000. All these participants have also been confirmed through several regional competitions. This is the third edition of the UNITE World Championship.
The tournament will be organized in two distinct phases: Group Stage and Playoffs. These teams have been divided into eight groups for the initial phase, which is set to be held in Single Round-Robin Bracket and all matches will be played in a Best of three (Bo3). The best two performers from each group, i.e., 16 teams, will advance to the next phase.
The Playoffs will be organized in Single Elimination Bracket on August 17. The winning club of the 2024 edition will be awarded $100K in prize money. The runner-up will ensure $75K to their name. The prize pool will only be distributed among the top 16 teams.

A total prize pool of $500,000 will be distributed among the top 16 teams of the Pokemon UNITE World Championship 2024. Here is the prize pool distribution:

Team S8UL will represent India in this Pokemon UNITE Championship. The club made it to this event after winning the regional qualifier held in May this year. Defending champions Luminosity Gaming have also achieved their spot through the North America Circuit Points. Both teams have been seeded into the same group for the initial stage.
Several popular organizations like Reject, Zeta Division, ONIC, and Evos will be seen contesting in the 2024 Pokemon UNITE World Championship. Fans will be allowed to watch the competition at the venue and on the YouTube channel of Pokemon in many languages.
