The Pokemon UNITE World Championship 2024 is all set to be played on August 16 and 17 at the Hawai Convention Center in Honolulu, the United States. A total of 26 teams will clash against each other for a huge prize pool of $500,000. Initially, the publisher selected 30 teams from across the globe for the championship before four teams withdrew due to visa issues.

The Pokemon UNITE event is scheduled to be held in two phases: Group Stage and Playoffs. 26 teams have been seeded into eight groups, where they will compete in a Single Round-Robin Bracket. All encounters will be played in a best-of-three (Bo3) format. The top two teams from each group, i.e., a total of 16 teams, will advance to the Playoffs.

The second stage will be contested in a Single Elimination Bracket. Barring the Finals, all matches will be played in a Bo3 format. The winner will receive the first prize of $100,000, while the runner-up will earn $75,000.
