PUBG Mobile Esports 2025 Season roadmap: PMGC, PMWC, PMGO, and PMSL

On the second day of the PMGC 2024 Grand Finals, the roadmap and structure of the PUBG Mobile Esports 2025 season were revealed. The game's publisher will invest $10 million in the 2025 global esports ecosystem. Like the 2024 season, the three international tournaments will be hosted in 2025: PMGO, PMWC, and PMGC. The PMSL will now be organized in five different regions.

PUBG Mobile's 2024 season is about to end with the conclusion on the PMGC. Teams worldwide will now prepare themselves for the upcoming season. The publisher has also revealed that many local tournaments will also be hosted next year, which will help the game expand its ecosystem.

The Super League (PMSL), a major regional event, will be held in five regions — Southeast Asia, Europe, Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Central and South Asia (CSA), and Americas. In 2024, Europe and MENA were merged in a single region for the Super League events.

There will be two editions — Spring and Fall — of PMSL. Teams will fight in their respective regional Super Leagues for a spot in global events. The publisher first introduced this event in 2023 only for Southeast Asia region. Then, in 2024, it was expanded to four different regions.

The company will organize three global tournaments in 2025. The PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) will be hosted March and April in Uzbekistan. Teams from around the world will be selected from the PMGO qualifiers. This will be the second edition of the event. The inaugural edition was organized in Brazil in April 2024.

The Esports World Cup (PMWC) 2025 will be held in Riyadh, similar to the 2024 iteration. It will be a part of the prestigious Esports World Cup, which features many games. The top teams from the PMSL Spring will be chosen for the event.

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 will be organized in Thailand. The top performing teams from across the globe in the regional PMSL will be selected for the tournament. This will be the sixth edition of the championship. However, prize pools for any of the upcoming year's global events weren't revealed during the announcement.

The PMGC 2024 Finals is being held in the United Kingdom. It will conclude on December 8. It boasts a prize pool of $3 million, of which $400K will be awarded to the winning club.
