PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 Main Event Day 1: Overall standings and highlights 

Alpha7 Esports captured the prime spot with 62 points and two Chicken Dinners after Day 1 of the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 Main Event. DRX from South Korea claimed the second spot with 62 points and one Chicken Dinner. Reject, the PMGO champions, grabbed the third position with 49 points. TJB also had a brilliant start to the Main Event, securing fourth place with 45 points.

Talon Esports and BOOM have accumulated 38 points each. Team Liquid and Tianba ranked seventh and eighth with 36 and 32 points respectively. NRX and 4Merical had modest runs, scoring 31 and 27 points respectively. Twisted Minds and Power have claimed 23 points each. Vampire Esports was 16th with 18 points and had a poor start to this ultimate stage.

Day 1 overall standings of PUBG Mobile World Cup Main Event

Match 1 - Sanhok

Brazilian squad Alpha7 Esports took control of the opening game and secured an 18-point win. TJB and Talon Esports also played well, scoring 15 and 10 points respectively. DRX and BOOM Esports managed seven points each in the first match of the Main Event. IHC was unable to collect any points there.

Match 2 - Erangel

Chinese team TJB had another great game as the side ensured a 15-point Chicken Dinner after winning a nerve-wracking fight against IHC in the last zone. However, IHC also played well and secured 17 points. Team Liquid earned 13 points, while NRX and DRX took 10 points each.

Match 3 - Erangel

Talon Esports from Indonesia emerged victorious in the third encounter with 15 points. DRX and Alpha7 captured 13 and 10 points respectively. Powr, TJB, and Tianba claimed nine points each there.

Match 4 - Erangel

South Korea’s DRX clinched the fourth encounter with 15 points. Team Liquid played nicely too and scored 16 important points. Vampire and Reject gained 12 and eight points respectively. 4Merical took seven points in the game.

Match 5 - Miramar

Alpha7 Esports came out victorious in the fifth game and took their second Chicken Dinner of the PUBG Mobile World Cup Finals with 19 points. DRX achieved 15 points, while Reject and Tianba grabbed nine and eight points respectively.

Match 6 - Miramar

Reject sealed a mammoth 27-point Chicken Dinner in the sixth game. PUBG Mobile star Sara from the team was remarkable in the match. 4Merical Vibes and BOOM Esports claimed 14 and 11 points respectively. Alpha7, NRX, and Twisted Minds took seven points each.
