A total of 28 teams participated in the grand contest for the prestigious trophy and an enormous prize pool of $3 million. The tournament was held in three stages in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and was a part of the Esports World Cup event.
Alpha 7 Esports from Brazil finally claimed their first international trophy by winning the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024. The team missed the global title by small margins several times in the last four years. The club finally sealed an international title after demonstrating their remarkable performance throughout the tournament.
Alpha 7 Esports has been awarded $487,000 in cash prizes, including a $400,000 first prize in the Main Event. One of their players, Mafioso, was the Gunslinger of the Main Event with 28 eliminations and 6235 damage, while Revo was the Grenade Master. The club also clinched five Chicken Dinners, the most by any team in the contest.

Reject from Japan was the second-best team of the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024. One of their members, Reiji, secured the MVP title of $50,000. Tiaba from China and DRX from South Korea earned third and fourth positions, respectively. Indonesian clubs BOOM Esports and Talon ranked fifth and sixth, respectively.
Vampire Esports, who won the PMWI 2023, finished seventh, followed by D'Xavier Esports at eighth. Mongolian squads IHC and 4Merical Vibes were 11th and 12th, while NRX and Alliance came 15th and 16th, respectively, in the Main Event.
A few renowned PUBG Mobile teams like Falcons, Dplus, and Team Spirit had faced elimination from the event during the Survival Stage. Out of the 28 participants, only 16 teams participated in the Main Event, while the bottom 12 were eliminated during its penultimate stage.
