PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024 groups revealed 

On June 25, PUBG Mobile revealed the groups for the upcoming PMWC 2024 Riyadh, starting on July 19. 24 out of the total 28 participants will fight in the initial stage, while the rest four will compete directly in the Survival Stage. The organizer seeded these 24 teams randomly into three groups named Red, Yellow, and Green. They will compete against each other in a round-robin structure.

The top 12 from the Group Stage will directly progress to the Main Stage, while the bottom 12 alongside the four directly invited clubs will engage in the Survival Stage. The first to fourth ranked teams from the second stage will reach the Main Stage, while the remaining will be knocked out of this prestigious contest. The overall prize pool of this mega tournament is $3 million.

Pigmy Team, RUKH, Spirit, and Twisted Minds are the four clubs that will be seen playing directly in the Survival Stage. These teams have been selected from their respective PMSL spring events.

Reject has recently lifted the PMGO 2024 trophy, which was the first global PUBG Mobile tournament of the year. Tianba from China recently clinched the spring edition of the PEL, while 4Merical Vibes won the Super League Spring CSA. Brute Force from CIS emerged victorious in the PMSL EMEA recently.

Team Liquid has made an astonishing debut in the PUBG Mobile scene as the Brazilian club conquered their first major regional event, named the PMSL Brazil Spring. IHC and Falcons Force from Mongolia have also made it to the event after performing in the regional Super League.

BOOM Esports from Indonesia secured their second PMSL SEA title in a row. CAG Osaka from Japan recently won the PMJL, while DRX Gaming entered the PMWC after recruiting the ex-players of Duksan Esports. Alpha7 from Brazil maintained their consistency in the regional Super League and will aim to keep their form in the World Cup.

The PMWC 2024 Group Stage will take place from July 19 to 21, followed by the Survival Stage on July 23 and 24. The Main Stage will be contested from July 26 to 28.
