PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024: Qualified teams so far and dates revealed 

The PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024, an international competition, will kick off on July 19 and conclude on July 28 in Riyadh, KSA. 27 out of the 28 participating clubs have been confirmed for this prestigious contest. The organizer has yet to disclose the name of any special invited team. An enormous prize pool of $3 million will be up for grabs based on rankings.

The PMWC 2024 will be conducted in three rounds: Group Stage, Survival Stage, and Main Stage. 24 teams have been chosen for the initial round with the top 12 advancing to the Main Event. Four teams have directly been selected for the Survival Stage, where they will meet the bottom 12 contenders from the first round and compete for the remaining four spots in the ultimate phase.

Power Gaming, the best-performing team from the host country in the PMSL EMEA Spring, received a special invitation to the PMWC 2024. The organization finished sixth in the tournament. Japan’s Reject Esports, who lifted the PMGO trophy in April this year, has also been given a slot at the World Cup. The remaining special invited team will be disclosed in the coming days.

Tianba and TJB from China have booked their tickets for the competition. DRX Gaming, a popular organization, acquired the former roster of Duksan Esports who won the Pro Series Korea. Meanwhile, Dplus KIA won the Rivals Cup Korea vs Japan to reach this stage. Team Harame Bro advanced to the World Cup after winning the Challenger League.

The top five teams from PMSL SEA, CSA, and EMEA have been chosen for this competition, while four from PMSL Americas have qualified for the PMWC.

Vampire, RUKH, Team Spirit, and Twisted Minds from the above-mentioned four tournaments have progressed to the Survival Stage of the World Cup. These teams must deliver outstanding results in this phase as it only has four slots for the main event.
