The developers of Rogue Company, First Watch Games, have removed all Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV aka Dr DisRespect content after rolling out no major update in almost a year. Moreover, the company offered a refund of in-game currency to those who purchased such content. The decision came about after the streamer has been accused of engaging in a s**ually explicit conversation with a minor, which led him to be banned from Twitch in June 2020.

Recently, an X post by @RogueCompany on July 8, 2024, mentioned that Dr DisRespect's content, which was launched in October 2020, has been removed. The content includes several items like emotes, a new map called The Arena, and his character skin (the most expensive among all), which was previously sold for $20.
The developers have offered players in-game currency, Rogue Bucks, as compensation to those who purchased it earlier.
The decision came in after the controversy regarding the streamer recently went viral. In June 2020, Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV popularly known as Dr DisRespect was suddenly banned from Twitch without giving any reason. At that time, he was midway to closing a two-year exclusive deal worth around over $10 million with the platform, having over four million subscribers.
The controversy started on June 22, 2024, when a Twitch employee “Cody Conners” shared a post on X claiming Dr DisRespect’s “inappropriate” messages to a minor led him to get banned from Twitch.
“He got banned because he got caught se***ng a minor in the then existing Twitch Whispers product. He was trying to meet up with her at TwitchCon.”
As this post went viral, Midnight Studios, which was co-founded by Dr DisRespect himself, cut ties with the streamer. Apart from that, companies such as Turtle Beach, 2K, and the San Francisco 49ers, who were partnered with him, subsequently cut ties as well. According to some sources, it has been reported that several other video game companies have taken steps to discontinue partnerships with the streamer.
