Squad Busters has just announced an apology gift of Pinata Sticks through their X account. The developers noticed a technical error and decided to restart the Squad Busters Pinata Festival event, causing the community to miss out on a few hours of gameplay. Hence, as compensation, they sent a gift of 50 Pinata Sticks to all players.

On September 5, 2024, the Squad Busters team decided to give players 50 free Pinata Sticks in the wake of a technical issue. According to the post, players were unable to join or create Pinata Groups freely, which meant they would have to collect all the Pinata Sticks required to complete the festival by themselves.

In Squad Busters Pinata Festival, players join groups and collect Pinata Sticks. The Festival is meant to be played with friends because to claim all rewards, 1500 Pinata Sticks are needed. Additionally, players can expect to collect up to 10 Pinata Sticks per battle.

In the event, players can make a group of friends, which progresses collectively. Aggregated Pinata Sticks collected by all players of the group will be counted toward the rewards. As such, being unable to play with the community would greatly hinder their progress.

Hence, once the issue was resolved, the event had to be restarted by the developers. Thanks to their swift action, the event is working fine now, but the community lost a few hours of progress.

The apology gift of 50 Pinata Sticks is more than enough to claim the first Pinata of the Festival, which requires 10 Pinata Sticks. Additionally, if you manage to make a group of six friends, the total stick count of 300 would be enough to claim the second Pinata as well.

To collect the free sticks, open the in-game shop and simply claim the 50 Pinata Sticks with the title of 'Apology Gift'. Furthermore, the sticks will be available for the duration of the event, till September 9, 2024.
