Shift Up's smash-hit PS5 exclusive Stellar Blade is already close to reaching 100,000 sold units in Japan. The massive update was revealed recently by Famitsu. The action-adventure title enjoyed a strong arrival in Japan several days ago following a 'stellar debut' that saw critics giving it extremely favorable reviews.
Moreover, Stellar Blade was rumored to have sold close to 1 million units at launch last month. However, Sony has yet to confirm that figure.

Last week, Stellar Blade was declared the top-selling title in Japan. A week later, the situation hasn't really changed much. According to Famitsu, Stellar Blade was still the best-selling video game in the Japanese market for the week ending May 12, 2024.
Shift Up's title managed to sell an additional 13,033 units after hitting 67,131 copies by the end of the previous week. Despite facing solid competition from the likes of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Endless Ocean Luminous, and Ring Fit Adventure, the PS5 exclusive managed to retain the top spot.
The game has now sold exactly 80,164 copies in Japan, putting it on track to reach 100,000 sold units in the next few days. Going by the current pace, it's likely to accomplish this impressive milestone soon.
