Street Fighter 6 came out swinging in Season 2, bringing its first-ever collaboration with non-Capcom characters. Summer Game Fest’s trailer for S2 revealed all four characters that will be available in Season 2’s fighter pass, and they are some serious doozies.

While dates, movesets, or things of that nature were not revealed in the Season 2 trailer for SF6, we know we know the release window for each character:

  • M. Bison: Summer 2024
  • Terry: Autumn 2024
  • Elena: Spring 2025
  • Mai: Winter 2025

Now that Akuma has arrived and wrapped up Season 1, Season 2 of Street Fighter 6 promises to be even bigger and more impressive. This season, we’re getting two familiar characters from past games, one with a bold new look, and the other two are from SNK’s hit Fatal Fury/King of Fighters games.

Here’s who is coming:

  • Terry Bogard (Fatal Fury/King of Fighters)
  • Mai Shiranui (Fatal Fury/King of Fighters)
  • Elena (Street Fighter 3)
  • M. Bison (Street Fighter 2)

Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui appeared in their classic styles in an anime-styled trailer during the Summer Game Fest. They joined Luke and Jaime on-screen, but then the video flashed over to Africa, where Elena — the flashy fighter — looked towards the sky. But the developers at Capcom weren’t done.

Meanwhile, back at Shadowlaw Headquarters, Bison’s hat sat on a mysterious chair. After a few moments, he reappeared, just as muscular as he’d been in previous incarnations, but with long, white hair, betraying his age. It’s unknown if he’s claimed a new body or how he returned, but that will probably be revealed with time in SF6 Season 2.

2024 is going to be a huge year for SF6 players, with Season 2 giving them a first-ever collaboration, breaking free of the Capcom-only shackles and bringing two amazing characters to this game.
