It is no surprise that the upcoming Suicide Squad game will feature a fully-explorable open-world. This will be similar to the developer's past Batman Arkham entries.

As one of four iconic supervillains, players can expect to cause carnage across the streets of Metropolis. Stopping the invading forces of Brainiac is key, with players employing the unique traversal systems of each hero to accomplish tasks.

This has already been established in the latest gameplay trailer. However, the leak suggests there will be a real-time day and night system, too. So, as fans fight across the alleys and rooftops of Metropolis, they can expect to see a changing day cycle in real-time.

Furthermore, the weather will also be dynamic. The leaker did not provide any more details regarding that. Perhaps we could see random bouts of rainfall across the game?

On that note, the sandbox of Metropolis is suggested to be twice as big as Gotham Knight was in 2015's beloved Batman Arkham Knight game. There will be more secrets to discover and more sights to see and get to. This makes sense as co-op is a big aspect of Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League.

Just like another relatively recent DC Game, Gotham Knights, this title will also allow up to four-player co-op. Those who would rather have a solo experience need not worry.

The entire campaign can supposedly be played alone, with the player able to switch between each anti-hero to use their unique playstyles, like Deadshot having a ranged focus. But whether this switching feature is seamless or not remains uncertain.

Finally, the editions and pricing for the game have been leaked as well.

It will launch in two editions:

  • Day One Edition: This is the standard edition with the $69.99 price tag and does not offer any bonuses or goodies
  • Deluxe Edition: The more expensive $99.99 version comes with three days of early access, allowing buyers to play the game a few days before the official launch. It also supposedly includes extra costumes for the supervillains as well as bonus Battle Pass points, which does not seem out of line with its live service focus.

Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League is currently in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
