Team BDS emerged as the champion of Rainbow Six Siege at the Esports World Cup 2024 after dominating the grand finale. This squad's game against W7M Esports saw some amazing plays by both sides. That said, Team BDS was never really in trouble and won the best-of-five (Bo5) series 3-0.

Winning three maps in a row (7-2 on Clubhouse, 7-3 on Consulate, 7-1 on Oregon), the squad deprived the grand finale of the intense drama that ensues when a series enters the last map.

W7M Esports failed to break BDS on both attack and defense rounds, being completely outplayed on all maps.

The members of Team BDS consisted:

  • Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu
  • Loïc "BriD" Chongthe
  • Théo "LikEfac" Mariano
  • Fatih "Solotov" Türker
  • Josh "Yuzus" Pritchard

Yuzus won the Player of the Tournament for performing well consistently with a whopping 80-46 tournament K/D and 123 overall rating. Also, for his gameplay on the final map, LikEfac won a Play of the Day for his stellar frags.

Team BDS has always been a consistent name in the upper echelon of Rainbow Six Siege esports, and this win is another feather in its cap. However, it's worth noting that the squad recently came second in the BLAST R6 Major Manchester, losing the Bo5 finals to Beastcoast 2-3.

Rainbow Six Siege fans can rest for a bit, since the next major tournament will be the BLAST R6 Major Montreal, which will be held in November 2024. With this Esports World Cup win in its bag, Team BDS will look forward to continuing its amazing form in Montreal.
