Tencent reveals new schedule for PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia Championship Grand Finals

Tencent has announced a new schedule for the PMPL South Asia Championship Grand Finals. It was initially planned between May 11 and 14 but had to be postponed due to the protest and internet issues in Pakistan at the time. The publisher wanted to ensure a fair playing field for each team. The four-day mega battle will now be held between May 25 and 28.

The contest will bring together the top 16 teams from the South Asia region, all vying for the prestigious title and a coveted spot in the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2023.

Top squads from Pakistan, Nepal, and Mongolia will clash over this regional championship trophy. A total of 20 intense matches will take place over the course of four days, with five scheduled daily.

4Merical Vibes, who grabbed headlines during the PMPL South Asia 2023 Spring, will expect to continue their exploits in the finals. They are eagerly seeking their first regional title and may pose a solid challenge to the other teams.

AgonXI8 Esports showcased their impressive abilities throughout the league and the finals of the PMPL Pakistan Spring. Now, they will look to make a lasting impression on the regional stage, representing their country with pride.

Meanwhile, Nepali fans will place their hopes on T2K and DRS Gaming. The 150K USD event finals will be telecasted live on the Youtube channel of PUBG Mobile Esports starting 5:45 PM IST.

The league stage of the competition saw the superiority of the Mongolian teams as the podium spots were secured by Stalwart, 4Merical, and Mabetex Esports. IHC from Mongolia, who didn't have a good run in the first leg, is also capable of lifting the trophy since their members are experienced in playing grand tournaments.
