"That is so funny!": Twitch streamers Sodapoppin and Nmplol react to IShowSpeed naming his cats Master and Slave

Popular Twitch streamers Nick "Nmplol" and Chance "Sodapoppin" recently reacted to YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" naming his two cats Master and Slave. Nick and Chance were on the former's channel playing a game with Imane "Pokimane" when a discussion about Twitch guidelines for PG content came up.

Nmplol explained to Sodapoppin that IShowSpeed had named his black cat Slave and his white cat Master:

"Speed has two dogs, a black dog, oh two cats. A black cat and a white cat. The white cat is called Master and the black cat is called Slave."

Sodapoppin found Darren's naming convention hilarious:

"That is so funny! I love that. I love that."

Nmplol agreed with his fellow Twitch streamer and noted how content like that might not be welcome on the Amazon-owned streaming platform:

"It's hilarious, it's hilarious. But if that was on Twitch? 'Oh my god! Did you make that joke, huh? Oh my goodness, can't believe you. I am upset.'"

"They do not care": Nmplol tells Sodapoppin that younger streamers do not share the same morals as "old Twitch"

Just before the topic of IShowSpeed's controversial cats names came up, Nmplol and his partner Malena Tudi were discussing Twitch's guidelines about what is considered appropriate content. The former streamer, who is also a co-owner of streaming group One True King, noted that creators have the option to go to other websites:

"Here's the deal, nowadays Twitch really doesn't have that grip on the whole streaming industry. People can just go and stream on YouTube. Look at it this way, they banned Speed, right?"

Nick continued with IShowSpeed's example about him getting unbanned from the platform after becoming highly successful on YouTube:

"Speed was banned on Twitch, so he just goes to YouTube and gets 100K views on YouTube, and you know what they do? They ended up unbanning him."

Sodapoppin agreed, and was about to comment on Twitch before Nmplol cut him off:

"You're right. IShowSpeed did do that, and it's only getting more and more into that. The future Twitch might..."

Nick claimed that the younger generation of streamers do not share the same sense of morality:

"And I am telling you, the new age like Speed? They don't have the same morals that the old Twitch does. They do not care."

IShowSpeed has ruffled a lot of feathers with the way he has named his three pets. Apart from the two cats with the aforementioned names, he also has a dog whom he named the n-word.
