The Finals Season 3 has just been revealed at Summer Game Fest 2024, and it looks like it's taking players to Japan. Embark Studios' free-to-play game will feature Japan-themed maps, gadgets, and modes. Furthermore, a new events series called World Tour is set to arrive in the game in the upcoming season, allowing players to earn rewards by playing in tournaments.

New map (Kyoto 1568)
Coming to Season 3 in The Finals is Kyoto 1568, an arena set in feudal Japan.
The map features cherry blossoms, temples, and bamboo forests that are perfect ambush spots. It also has elevated terrain and Shoji paper walls that players can shoot through.
New gadgets and mode (Recurve Bow, Thermal Bore, and more)
Season 3 of the game will introduce five new weapons, gadgets, and specializations for different classes, allowing players to explore new builds.
- Recurve Bow (Light) - medium/long range weapon
- Thermal Bore (Light) - long-range gadget
- Dual Katanas (Mediums) - melee weapon
- Spear (Heavy) - melee weapon
- Winch Claw (Heavy) - specialization
Aside from these new weapons, a ranked mode for The Finals' Terminal Attack is also happening in Season 3.
World Tour events series
World Tour is a new events series that is set to arrive in Season 3. It will allow players to earn rewards by taking part in events and tournaments. Win more matches to progress through the bronze, silver, and gold tiers.
With Season 3 kicking off on June 13, 2024, players only have a few more days to claim the Season 2 rewards on the Battle Pass. Make sure to earn these rewards before the season ends.
