This overview showcase aims to cover the events from the previous entry, The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak and contains heavy spoilers for the 2021 JRPG.

When does The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II release?

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II will arrive on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 on February 15, 2025. While it already dropped first on both PlayStation systems in Japan in 2022, fans worldwide will finally get their hands on the latest Trails experience with its launch early next year.

Set after the events of the first game, The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II sees players return to the setting of Calvard Republic. While the threat of the Almata is gone, things quickly take a sour turn as a series of murders haunt the city with the "crimson beast" also playing a major role in the plot. All in all, a new engaging narrative with richly written characters both new and familiar awaits.

The suspense-filled narrative will be supplemented by a complex battle system that fans enjoyed in the previous game. New elements such as Cross Charge and EX Chains will help players gain the upper hand to keep the pressure up on foes.
