TJB, Tianba, and ThunderTalk Gaming qualify for PMGC 2024

The Grand Finals of the PEL 2024 Fall came to a close, with three teams from China securing spots in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024. Among them, TJB delivered a brilliant performance, ultimately winning the Fall edition. The team scored 134 points in the Grand Finals after making a strong comeback on the last day and was awarded around $717K in prize money.

Two teams from China have been chosen from the PEL Points (Spring and Fall seasons) for the Global Championship 2024. While TJB topped the points table and also won the PEL Fall, securing their spot in the PMGC, the second-ranked ThunderTalk, and third-ranked Tianba were also selected for the Championship based on their performances.

Similar to the 2023 PMGC, a total of four Chinese teams will take part in the upcoming edition. One team will be chosen from the PEL PMGC Qualifier, which will be held later this month.

Qualified teams for PMGC 2024 and PEL Fall Grand Finals overview

Here are the three teams that have qualified for the Global Championship 2024, which will start on October 31:

The Grand Finals was played from October 11 to 13, 2024. The top four teams from the Regular Season and the top 12 teams from the Playoffs collided in the competition. TJB claimed the second PEL title and will now aim to perform well in the upcoming global event.

LGD Gaming emerged as the first runner-up of the fall edition after winning the last match of the Grand Finals. The organization ranked fourth in the PEL Points, as the side had a below-average run in the spring edition.

Tianba Esports earned the second runner-up spot in the fall season. The firm was the winner of the spring season. With their consistent performances in both seasons, the team grabbed the third spot in the PEL Points and made it to the Global Championship 2024.

ThunderTalk Gaming, who was the table toppers in the league stage, faltered in the Finals and came seventh in the overall standings. However, the squad managed to finish second in the PEL Points and earned a seat in the upcoming Championship 2024.

Many popular clubs like The Chosen, WBG, 4Angry Men, and Nova Esports stumbled completely in the Grand Finals as they were ninth, 10th, 11th, and 12th, respectively. These teams still have a chance to grab a spot in the Global Championship 2024 from the upcoming Qualifiers.
