On May 22, 2023, popular IRL Twitch streamer CookSux garnered attention on Reddit after a minute-long clip showed him confronting a group of people in a car who were littering the street. During their heated conversation, one of the individuals seemingly threatened CookSux. Before the group drove away, one of the occupants attacked the streamer by hurling bottles at him.

At the 05:52-hour mark of his IRL broadcast in New York, CookSux observed a group inside a car throwing empty plastic bottles, coffee cups, and carry bags on the streets. When the Twitch streamer noticed this, he confronted them and asked if they would pick up the trash.

The driver became defensive and asked why the content creator was "in front of their face." CookSux responded by saying:

"I'm not in front of your face! I'm walking there. Yeah but, there's a trash can right there! Okay, I'm just saying. You shouldn't do that!"

A passenger in the car exclaimed, saying he would pick up the litter and expressed frustration at being recorded. The driver rejoined the conversation, this time threatening CookSux. The latter was taken aback after hearing this and commented:

"Hot pocket? What's that? I don't want you to get out of the car! I was just asking, why are you throwing the trash out there? What are you going to do when you hop out of the car? Hold on a second! Are you threatening me right now?!"

Before they left, the passenger began attacking CookSux by throwing bottles at him. The Twitch streamer took note of the license plate and said:

"Why, bro?! That's weird, dude! Terrible aim! S**t. That's weird. (The streamer mentions the car's license plate) Jesus! It's a green light. F***ing weird! 'Report.' 'Am I not afraid? He might have a Glock.' What's going to happen? He shoots me and kills me. Get on LSF (r/LivestreamFail subreddit). It's f**king live! People get their face right now."
