According to Xbox leaker NateTheHate, the Nintendo Switch 2 will get two iconic first-party games from the publisher. He suggested on his YouTube podcast that these are two of the biggest games on Xbox and PC systems - Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. According to the leaker, both titles will also be coming to PlayStation 5.
To top it off, another Microsoft leaker, Jez Corben, suggested there is more to come on that front. This is perhaps not surprising since the publisher is no stranger to bringing their titles to Nintendo. Here are the full details.

Halo Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator could arrive on Nintendo Switch 2
Here's what NatetheHate said in the video:
"So games that I have heard will be released multiplatform in 2025 beyond the obvious, include Flight Simulator (2024) will come to PlayStation 5 and Switch 2... and Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be coming to PS5 and Switch 2 as well."
Both titles going multiplatform would ensure a fresh revival for them with the influx of an untapped demographic, especially since these potential ports would mark the first time the Halo and Microsoft Flight Sim franchises have been released on a handheld console. According to NateTheHate, this is the next natural step for Microsoft to flourish its Xbox brand.
On an interesting note, Xbox insider Jez Corben seems to agree with this. Tagged under a post by GamerUPGaming on X concerning the same claim by Nate, Corben suggests that more than those two games are planned to be going multiplatform. This is not surprising since we saw Hi-Fi Rush release for the PS5 recently.
While the rumored Nintendo Switch port for Tango Gamework's vibrant rhythm-action game did not appear, it likely will come to Nintendo Switch 2, given current rumor trends. Interestingly, we have seen a bunch of game listings for the next Nintendo console appear under a French retailer, so it looks like the upcoming hybrid console has secured the third-party bag.
