Focus Entertainment just revealed the post-release content and upcoming roadmap for Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2. The latest update will bring an entire year of updates alongside a new PVP trio operation.
The publisher stated that the first major update, featuring Termination and the new Lethal Difficulty setting in the Operations mode is coming for free.
A new Tyranid is coming
Perhaps one of the biggest highlights of this announcement is the introduction of a brand new Tyranid - the Hierophant Bio-Titan. This mega Tyranid is sure to pose a challenge to Marines who seek to go out of their way for the Emperor.
The update also promises to bring more new Tyranids and Thousand Sons enemies which will add to the already-intense catalog of mobs and enemies in-game.

New weapons and game mode announced
As part of the upcoming update, the latest weapon to be introduced will be the Neo-Volkite pistol, a powerful handgun to assist the Marines as they bring order among the chaos bringers.
Additionally, new PvE operations, PvP maps, and modes will be added later in the update timeline. Along with these expansions, the update will also introduce a fresh Horde Mode where the objective is to fight endless Tyranids and make your last stand.

Dark Angels are coming to Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2
One of the most celebrated highlights of this announcement is the upcoming arrival of the coveted Dark Angels theme pack. The Dark Angels are one of the most powerful and secretive of the Loyalist Space Marine Chapters and are a popular choice among fans of the expansive franchise.
This theme pack coming as part of the Season One pass will introduce a host of weapon styles, and armor pieces. It will also contain color schemes that will feature the notorious Unforgiven. All of these customizations will be accessible from the Battle Barge in-game.
