“We sincerely apologize for an unfortunate incident that occurred on our account” – Angry Bird issues an apology on X

The well-known video game found itself at the center of controversy after it reshared an explicit post on its X page. The team's apology stated:

“We sincerely apologize for an unfortunate incident that occurred on our account. Recently, an inappropriate post was accidentally reposted from the account. This was a genuine mistake, and we deeply regret any harm it may have caused.”

In response to the apology, several users have revealed the screenshot of the incident that had occurred:

One of the users, @KC_4191, provided a gist of the entire situation that had taken place. He stated - “Some guy posted a tweet tagging Angry Birds saying he likes j***ing off to AngryBirds. Well AngryBirds Retweeted the Post”
