Wuthering Waves 1.2 patch to bring 120FPS support for PC

The Wuthering Waves 1.2 update, which is expected to go live on August 15, 2024, will bring a highly anticipated feature for PC players. 120FPS will finally be an option in-game which should drastically improve the title's smoothness and overall feel. One of the biggest complaints about Kuro Games' gacha RPG was its clunky feel upon its debut. While it has gotten better over the months, the addition of 120 FPS should significantly improve the game's performance on certain devices.

Wuthering Waves 1.2 update to offer 120FPS option for PC

The 120FPS graphic settings option will be added in the Wuthering Waves 1.2 update which is set to go live on August 15, 2024. This information was revealed in the Version 1.2 patch notes. The 5-Star Electro Resonator, Xiangli Yao, is also to be available for free.

120FPS has been one of the most requested features by many PC players in the community. However, this option will only be available on select PC devices with the following specifications:

• Graphics Card: Supported NVIDIA RTX 30 series, NVIDIA RTX 40 series, or AMD RX 6000 series, AMD RX 7000 series.
• CPU: Supported Intel or AMD model.

The PC device must fulfill both system requirements to run the game in 120 FPS.

Previously, there were unofficial methods to get 120 FPS in Wuthering Waves. However, these needed the usage of third-party software which could have gotten a player's account banned. Fans can now officially experience the stunning artwork and world of Huanglong in the highest graphic setting possible.

Notably, the release of Xiangli Yao and Zhezhi, two 5-star Resonators, is expected from this version update. Additionally, new rewards will be available in the Realm of Illusive Depths store. Waveplate Crystals, a new material, will be introduced to store excess Waveplates.

Finally, a new Utility item called Hoverdroid: Shooter will be introduced to help players complete shooting puzzles without the need for pistol Resonators.
